Piton Industries Limited is an emerging technology-driven industrial and engineering company committed to delivering advanced smart utility and digital infrastructure solutions in Bangladesh. The company is strategically focused on the power, energy, digital metering, industrial automation, and smart technology sectors through international collaboration and sustainable technology transfer initiatives. Piton Industries Limited has established a joint collaboration and strategic partnership with TESIS to introduce next-generation digital smart electric metering solutions for the Bangladesh market. The company is currently working with a reputed Chinese digital meter manufacturing company under the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) import and assembly process for multiple models of smart electric meters. As part of its long-term industrial vision, the company plans to gradually transition from CKD operations to SKD (Semi Knocked Down) assembly and eventually establish full-scale local manufacturing facilities for smart electric meters and advanced energy management systems in Bangladesh.

Shamsul Alam Liton is a veteran journalist and broadcaster, civil rights activist, a British Lawyer, and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience. He is the Editor of Weekly Surma in London (bi- lingual weekly published from London since 1978) and former Press Secretary to the President of Bangladesh(2003-5). As the global spokesperson for the Global Bangladeshis Alliance for Human Rights (GBAHR), he represents 21 diaspora-based groups advocating for Human Rights and Democracy in Bangladesh and other parts of the world where people are struggling for their basic rights.
He was a founder trustee and Member Secretary of Atish Dipankar University of Science and Technology (ADUST) in 2004 and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He was a contributor to establish different cultural and social groups in his Uni days and also to establish another University. His recent initiative, the ADUST Skill Development Institute (ADUST-SDI), aims to train NEET youth for employment and entrepreneurship. He is also the Director of International Relations at VfGB (Voice for Global Bangladeshis). Through this visionary effort, he has become a strong voice for diaspora rights—particularly NRB voting rights and access to national ID cards—to deepen their engagement with Bangladesh.

SK. Iqbal Zahedee is a seasoned banking and financial services professional with over two decades of extensive experience in investment banking, trade finance, and portfolio management. He holds an MBA from the International Islamic University and an MSS from the University of Dhaka, reflecting a strong academic foundation complemented by a commitment to continuous learning and professional excellence.
Currently, he also serves as the Managing Partner at Wisdom Investment – A sister concern of PITON Group, where he also leads as Chief Analyst and Head of Portfolio Management. In this capacity, he oversees a diversified portfolio exceeding BDT 200 million. By leading a team of analysts, he designs and executes high-yield investment strategies while maintaining a disciplined focus on risk mitigation, capital preservation, and sustainable growth. His analytical insight and strategic foresight enable him to navigate complex financial markets with precision and resilience.
Previously, Mr. Zahedee held the position of Deputy Chief in the Corporate & Investment Banking Division at Wells Fargo Bank (Bangladesh Representative Office), where he played an instrumental role in driving revenue growth and strengthening portfolio quality. Renowned for his strategic acumen and proactive approach, he significantly contributed to minimizing credit risk and preventing potential loan losses through rigorous portfolio monitoring and adaptive risk management frameworks.
His professional journey also includes key roles as Relationship Manager at Mashreq Bank and Relationship Officer in the SME Division at Standard Chartered Bank. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated an exceptional ability to build and maintain client relationships, deliver tailored financial solutions, and effectively manage complex trade finance operations.
